Filippos Boats is the longest established motorboat rental company in Corfu, which since its inception 26 years ago in 1980 has prided itself in delivering a consistent high quality personal service to its local and foreign clientele alike. Filippos has been a pioneer in his field and he was the very first Corfiot Company to receive a full boat-hire license from the Greek government.
Under the umbrella of his new company 'Kassiopi Boat Yard Services' (KBYS) Filippos and his colleagues intend to continue that long tradition and aim to expand the service proffered to include full vessel and engine maintenance and repair.
In recent years more and more people have become boat owners. These vessels are pricipally pleasure craft used for family outings and short excursions. Boats require specialist maintenance and regular care. Filippos has observed with growing concern that the service delivered to boat owners in Corfu is both expensive and regularly falls below the fundamental standards of safety to be expected for any sea going vessel.
In direct response to these concerns Filippos and his experienced team of boatmen and mechanics have set up the new company to address the deficiency.
The object of KBYS is to remove the stress of boat maintenance and ownership and to deliver a comprehensive high quality standard of personal care to each customer and to ensure that each vessel is properly appointed and maintained to ensure trouble free, smooth and safe operation of the craft.
Filippos is highly respected with an established reputation in the boating industry. As a result of that unique position and because of his relationship with many major boat companies he is able to secure the very best deals at the most competitive prices. He is able to provide independent advice to prospective purchasers of boats, engines, trailers and other accessories.
The boat yard is set within a private campus occupying approximately 5000 square metres, it is fully equipped and manned by trained staff. KBYS are able to offer a full gambit of services which include complete hull and engine maintenance and repair. As well as fundamental services KBYS have the know-how, technology and personnel to deal with more complicated and demanding problems that arise from time to time.
KBYS is also able to aid any future clientele on finding mooring.
KBYS are able to deliver up-to-the moment weather reports and advice about changing weather conditions.
As ever conscious KBYS together with Filippos Boats keeps a high speed rescue speedboat on hand at all times, KBYS make regular patrols along the coast to bring immediate assistance to those who run into difficulties and they are equipped to respond instantly to any vessel in distress. Provided always that the distressed craft is within the designated legal boundaries of renta1 of our vessels we will come to your aid and if we are unable to restart the vessel we undertake to escort you back to your mooring.
KBYS also has contact with major boat suppliers, should you wish to purchase a new vessel and/or a new engine, we will be only too pleased to assist in helping you to find what you are looking for at the most competitive prices. We are also able to assist you with any administration needed with regard to purchasing a new vessel, ie legal documents needed from the Patrol Police, insurance etc.
